I must say also that ADOS was/is not just cheap, free labor used to build America; but ADOS (not immigrants) literally built America with not only stolen free labor (with their bare hands), stolen intellectual property and our literal bodies being used as collateral in exchange for merchandise and property; but ADOS was exchanged on the stock market and used for medical experimentation and knowledge expansion via Henrietta Lacks, Tuskegee experiments, etc. Not to mention our contribution to culture, literature, sports and entertainment. ADOS literally put America on the map for prosperity and now we're being discarded and replaced by immigrants; which btw, is prophecied in the bible as a sign or identification of the true people of Father YAH:

    Deuteronomy 28:
43  The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44  He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

Another sign that you mention in this video are all the titles or names that reference ADOS (black American, African American, Negro, N-word, Colored People, ADOS, FBA, etc.). The bible says that HIS true people would be reduced to a byword or expression of our unique characterizatics as a result of our destruction in the lands of our enemies:

    Deuteronomy 28:
37  And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

We are also looked upon with amazement or astonishment because we have endured so many generational atrocities in America, and it's still going on; and yet we are still here. Any other group of people enduring such generational terror and direct destruction as ADOS would have been killed off (genocided) as a people (case and point, native Americans); but amazingly, astonishingly we are still here; and do you know why? Because even though Father YAH allowed us to be punished in this way, due to our iniquities against HIM, HE said in the beginning that HE would not allow our total destruction in the lands of our enemies (and HE always keeps HIS word):

    Leviticus 26:
    40  If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

41  And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

42  Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43  The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44  And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD THEIR God.

45  But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be THEIR God: I am the LORD.

With all that's been said,, the biggest and most costly theft of all is the stolen identity of ADOS. If only we knew our true heritage as the Hebrew people of YAH, we would wake up and call upon Father YAH to save us from our enemies now, before they destroy us completely. Father YAH is already determined to save a remnant of HIS people (who are awake) from this captivity; but it helps when we come together and call upon HIM as a unified people. Shalom!

This is truth! This is why many ADOS took/take issue with Obama & Harris being elected and named as first Blacks to "make it" because they have NEVER shared the experience of ADOS struggles and such. It was reflective in their political agendas and why it is never beneficial for ADOS. Folks don't want to speak on that tho…

Great lecture Dr. Etienne I love you work and your delivery. I wanted to address Mr. Paul from Ayiti, Mr Paul you are wrong on your statement that no Haitians were brought over and put into slavery here on these soils. Louisiana was not part of the U.S. at the time, but under French, and Spain’s rule for some years. And while under there rule slaves from Haiti were brought to New Orleans and sent to the sugar cane fields in the south Louisiana and to central Louisiana to cane and cotton fields. Now a lot of y’all came to New Orleans again in 1810 some time after the 1804 revolution. My fourth grandfather on my farther side was one of those slaves ( Esklav). Also in 1803 after the Louisiana purchase they kept everything all property slaves included.

Again, I don't agree with the argument that African people from the continent are in comparable status with ADOS simply because their skin is black and their hair is nappy; so whites treat them comparably via discrimination. That's oversimplification of the situation. Again, just as with my previous comment concerning Hispanics or "black and brown" people, Africans come here (mostly wealthy, but some struggling with poverty as well) but most importantly voluntarily; and after 1965 (only 55 years ago) or mostly after 1980 (only 40 years ago). They missed all the slavery, Jim Crow 1.0 and 2.0 and continuing sabotage that causes accruing damages to ADOS. They also can return to their own countries with greater wealth-building ability; so if they suffer microaggretions in order to get their prize (because they happen to look like us more closely); than it's still worth it for them to come and get the biscuit. ADOS has no such options. We were dragged here involuntarily 400 years ago, and we have endured/survived (but are now broken by) slavery, Jim Crow 1.0 and 2.0; and we have no tangible solution as a collective, but to stay and fight for repair and restoration. If you believe in bible prophecies and you know who are the true people of YAH, then you know that America aka 2nd Egypt and Babylon, never repair and restore us; but Father YAH does/is stepping in to return us to our own land with great wealth:

    Genesis 15:
    13  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

The plagues/judgements began (and continue in intensity) after the 400 year mark (1619-2019), aka climate control and/or global warming (i.e. extreme variances in weather, floods, fires, earthquakes, famine (food, water, supply shortages), pestilence (covid-19, diseases), locusts, extreme economic downturn, high incidence of deaths and impending war:

    2 Esdras 15:
5 Behold, saith the Lord, I will bring plagues upon the world; the sword, famine, death, and destruction.

9 And therefore, saith the Lord, I will surely avenge them, and receive unto me all the innocent blood from among them.

10 Behold, my people is led as a flock to the slaughter: I will not suffer them now to dwell in the land of Egypt:

11 But I will bring them with a mighty hand and a stretched out arm, and smite Egypt with plagues, as before, and will destroy all the land thereof.

12 Egypt shall mourn, and the foundation of it shall be smitten with the plague and punishment that God shall bring upon it.

So hang in there. The Calvary is coming; but we have to go through the plagues with our captors (just as we did in the first Egypt); and as it states in Genesis 15:14 above "afterwards shall we come out with great wealth". Some will not make it, due in part to unbelief but also because of the shed of innocent blood by the captors; but in the end, Father YAH wins as we will all be raised and face judgement in the end. For now, it's really just about Father YAH saving HIS people and getting us back to our own land (not what they teach you in Euro-centricChristianity):

    Jeremiah 30
7  Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

8  For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:

9  But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

10  Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

11  For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

    Shalom!

Accepting who we are and using that knowledge to change our strategy is needed. Study the old or previous strategies to determine better ways of combat.

Most of us look at the"I AM" as a white God. Honey we been duped and bamboozled. This warfare is not happening Solely by physical means but also spiritual and mental means. If you trash the idea of any of these battlefields existing, you leave yourself open and become vulnerable to the enemy.

Be careful, the terms "black Americans" does not extend to "brown" people in the context of American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS). "Brown people" does not denote color; but is a reference to Hispanic or Latinx groups that did not share in the ADOS experience in America. White Hispanic people immigrated as white; and suffered no discrimination or discomfort; and more brown immigrants didn't appear in America until after the 1965 Immigration Act (only 55 years ago), and then moreso after 1980 (only 40 years ago), when other immigrants began to be allowed to come to America. So Hispanics were not involved in slavery, Jim Crow or the Civil Rights Movement. I just want to be clear about the phrase "black and brown" because it is a conflated term that mixes the ADOS poverty and struggle with the Hispanic poverty; and these groups came to America and are impoverished for very different reasons. ADOS was dragged here involuntarily, enslaved for 246 years (1619-1865); then underwent another 100 years of Jim Crow 1.0 (1865-1965) including peonage schemes, convict leasing, economic exclusion, segregation, lynching, murdering, burning, terrorizing, redlining, medical experimentation, police brutality and shootings, etc; and then underwent this last 55 years of Jim Crow 2.0 (1965-2020) including ADOS male criminalization, prison pipeline, massincarceration, predatory lending, food deserts, health insecurities, water insecurities, housing insecurities, gentrification, continued redlining and economic exclusion, on-going, built-in sabotage and oppression, creating, maintaining and increasing the racial wealth gap, etc. Brown people are poor because they came here voluntarily poor to make a better life for themselves; and while they may run into some obstacles, it's never been on the comparable level of ADOS; and consequently browns are advancing faster than ADOS because they don't have America weaponized against them as does ADOS. Bottom line, don't compare apples and oranges with the use of the phrase "black and brown".

Oh my Goodness, the shattered ego ..ie. The inner self.. that deep part of self had been shattered. Ego is usually seen as a pride thing .. that's part of it but that part of the ego is only the tip of the iceberg. Dr. Shona is talking about the deep inner self had been damaged.

I was thinking the same thing today. The only time there had been a change is when it didn't cost them anything and actually would benefit them. So reparations aren't coming to us until it may happen to benefit them in some way. There Is is something strange going on. Are we so powerful that we are the only people constantly being stamped down at every turn? It makes me wonder cause everybody else and their mama's get catered to and get their just due, except for us. Why is there this huge push to be at war with us.
